On the evolution of the parton distribution functions to N3LO accuracy in QCD

Abstract
The calculation of the four-loop splitting functions that determine the scale evolution of the Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) is necessary for obtaining PDFs with N3LO accuracy.
I present the calculation of the first ten Mellin moments of the four-loop splitting functions via the renormalisation of off-shell operator matrix elements. These moments will be employed to construct a highly precise approximation of the N3LO evolution of the PDFs, which can be used for LHC physics.
