In this talk, I will first introduce hadronic jets and their importance in the LHC phenomenology. Then, I will discuss jet substructure (JSS) observables and their resummation up to NLL' logarithmic accuracy. I will show the comparison of those predictions to experimental data and I discuss why JSS plays a pivotal role in LHC phenomenology. Finally, I will introduce recent developments about jet flavour algorithms and why they are relevant for fixed order and resummed calculations.
