Abstract

The state-of-the-art fixed-order calculations are reaching next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) and provide very good estimation of rates with small scale-variation errors. In the recent years there has been a lot of effort put into matching these precise predictions with Parton Shower (PS). In my talk I will present a particular method of obtaining NNLO+PS accuracy using the POWHEG-BOX framework extended with Multi-scale improved NLO (MiNLO). I will present the underlying method, results obtained so far, discuss potential limitations of the method and possible future directions.
