Transport study on quantum phases of matter

In this talk I'll present how I exploited transport measurements to study quantum states in two distinct systems during my postdoc period here at UZH. One is a correlated electron system, in which magnetotransport study revealed an unusual change of the electronic properties across a metamagnetic transition as a result of strong disorder; The other is a magnetic topological semimetal, in which electrical and thermoelectrical transport unraveled an unconventional contribution due to the complex interplay of topology and magnetism.
