Bio- and Medical Physics
The disordered and biological soft matter research group is studying light transport in turbid media, developmental biology and the dynamics of fluids, foams and granular gases. The group working in single-molecule spectroscopy investigates the structure, dynamics, and functions of biomolecules. Finally we have a research group developing modern imaging techniques is to directly visualize samples such as individual particles.
In medical physics the research groups are involved in next generation radiotherapy involving x-rays and protons and imaging.
