Margherita studied Physics at Sapienza University of Rome. She conducted her Master’s thesis at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik in Heidelberg, where she worked on radon background mitigation techniques for the DARWIN experiment. Before coming to Zürich, she spent six months at the Gran Sasso Science Institute in L’Aquila, working on rare-event searches using cryogenic calorimeters. She joined the group as a PhD student in October 2025 as a member of the XENON and DARWIN collaborations.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and music, and likes spending time with family and friends.
