Large-nf Contributions to the Four-Loop Splitting Functions in QCD

The development of the FORCER program has allowed, for the first time, a large number of Mellin moments of the four-loop splitting functions to be computed. In this talk, I will discuss details of the method by which we have reconstructed analytic expressions for the large-nf contributions from their Mellin moments. I will then summarize the current status of four-loop splitting function calculations, and show how deep-inelastic scattering can provide verification of the "no-pi^2 conjecture".
