Description

This course provides and introduction to Quantum Field Theory and Particle Physics Phenomenology. The main subjects are:

  • Elements of relativistic Quantum Field Theory (Lagrangian formalism, Feynman rules)
  • Quantum Electrodynamics (QED)
  • Gauge Theories
  • Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) and Parton Model
  • Symmetry breaking
  • Electroweak interactions Standard Model
  • Higgs mechanism
  • Quark mixing
  • Neutrinos
