Description
This course provides and introduction to Quantum Field Theory and Particle Physics Phenomenology. The main subjects are:
- Relativistic kinematics
- Basics of Quantum Field Theory (Lagrangian formalism, Feynman rules)
- Quantum Electrodynamics (QED)
- Gauge symmetries
- Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) and Parton Model
- Electroweak Standard Model
- Higgs mechanism
- Flavour Physics in the Quark and Neutrino Sectors
