Announcements

The course will start with the first lecture on Tue 16.09 at 13:00.

The lectures will be held in German while the script, exercise sheets, and exercise classes are in English.

The 3 hour written exam will take place in week 2 of 2026 (12-16 January).

You are required to obtain 50% of all points during the exercise classes (see section below) to pass the module. However, the exercises are not considered for the determination of your grade.

Exercises

Exercise classes start in the first week on Fri 19.09.

Exercises will be published on the webpage by Wednesday. The series 2 (26.09), 5 (17.10), 8 (07.11), and 11 (28.11) will have to be solved during the exercise class and handed in at the end of the class. You are welcome to discuss with your peers, ask the assistants for help, or use any other help during these exercise classes.

The solutions to all other series are to be handed in through OLAT the Wednesday following the release.

You need to obtain (on average) 50% of the points of all exercises over the full course. The series 2, 5, 8, and 11 count double.
