Abstract
The experimental capabilities of the intensity frontier have prompted a renewed interest in rare kaon decays. I will demonstrate how these, and in particular the CP asymmetry in K->mumu, can serve as a unique test of the CKM paradigm across flavor sectors, probing New Physics scales of up to ~1000 TeV. I will present the results of a recent study highlighting promising prospects within LHCb, and review the advantages of analyzing current and future kaon constraints via the (ds)-unitarity triangle, independently from B physics inputs.
