Scientifica 2019

Impressions from our booth 'Dark Matter, Antimatter - Does it Matter?
at the Scientifica 2019, Friday, 30 August 2019 - Sunday, 1 September 2019 (https://www.scientifica.ch/)
Scientifica (Zurich Science Days), takes place every two years and is organized by ETH and UZH. This years' topic was 'Science fiction - Science facts'. Researchers from all disciplines showed projects that still sound like science fiction today, but in the future will be commonplace and also how to distinguish facts from fictions in the age of "fake news" and "alternative facts".
Our institute participated with a short opening talk on dark matter by Laura Baudis, a show on the magic of physics by Christof Aegerter and a booth concentrating on the topics antimatter and dark matter.
