Do you wish to apply for an SNSF Eccellenza Professorial Fellowship or ERC Grant and would like to be hosted by our Physik-Institut?

Please proceed as follows:

1. Contact the leader of one of the research groups as listed on
       http://www.physik.uzh.ch/en/research.html and discuss with her or him your research ideas.
    
2. Once you decide to prepare the application with our institute, contact the research group leader again and provide  a CV and a one-two page summary of your research plan. Send it to the research group leader and Katharina Müller. This should happen at least three months before the application deadline of SNSF or ERC.

Based on the submitted material, and taking into account the present resources situation at the institute, an internal committee will decide about whether the institute will support your application. If your application is supported, prepare your SNSF application.
To submit an application to the SNSF, you need a written confirmation from the research institution. At UZH, you will receive the confirmation letter via the approval process in AVA, the UZH third-party funding platform.  Please read and follow these instructions.
