Seminar at 14:00, 16-G-05: Triple-GEM optical readout

Davide Pinci from Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, Sezione di Roma, will speak about "GEM Optical Readout for a High Resolution TPC"
It's a stunningly beautiful idea: they are using a high-resolution CMOS
camera equiped with wide-angle lens to watch the light generated in the
charge avalanches in Triple-GEM gaseous detectors. I attach here an
event picture Davide sent me a little while ago.
