PHY585 Principles of Non-Relativistic Scattering Applications to Quantum Matter

Lecturer: Prof. Thomas Gehrmann, Prof JohanChang and Dr. Artur Glavic

Lectures: 6.-10. February, 10h00-14h00
Exercise Class: TBD
Start: Monday, 06.02.2023
Location:

Y36 J33

Course Format

This block course is giving a fundamental (theoretical) and applied (experimental) introduction to scattering methodology. During the course, resonant and non-resonant scattering cross-sections are developed and illustrated with examples from x-ray and neutron scattering experiments on quantum matter systems.
