We invite applications for a joint PhD position at the University of Zurich (UZH) and the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in experimental particle physics research on the CMS experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. Our newly established research group is engaged in physics analysis and detector development. We are looking for outstanding and strongly motivated candidates to join our research.
A master's degree or diploma in physics and ideally some research experience in experimental particle physics are required. The position is available from February 2021 onwards.
