Title: The B0->K*mm anomaly Speaker: Prof. Nicola Serra, UZH Abstract: The decay B0->K*mm is Flavour Changing Neutral Current decay which proceed via loop and box diagrams in the Standard Model. In particular, the angular distributions of the decay products are very sensitive to New Physics contributions. LHCb measurements of angular observables of the decay B0->K*mm with 1fb-1 have been published in 2013 and showed a significant discrepancy with respect to Standard Model predictions. These measurements are attracting a large interest in the particle physics community. In particular, several theorists have pointed out that they seem to form a coherent pattern with other (less significant) deviations measured in rare electroweak penguin decays of B-mesons. I will show the recent measurements of angular observables in the decay B0->K*mm at LHCb and comment on their implications and possible interpretations.
