Title: Quarkonium results at LHCb Speaker: Giulia Manca, University of Cagliari Abstract: LHCb is one of the four LHC experiments which started collecting pp collisions data at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 and 8 TeV. With its forward geometry, LHCb is dedicated to the study of heavy-flavor production and decay. I present the study of the production ofquarkonia resonances in the data sample collected in the first three years of data taking, corresponding to more than 2 fb-1. The production and polarisation of J/psi, psi(2S) and Upsilon are presented both in proton proton and heavy nuclei collisions, together with measurements of associated production and searches for exotic new states. The results will be discussed in the framework of different theory models and compared with other experiments.
