Description

This course provides and introduction to Quantum Field Theory and Particle Physics Phenomenology. The main subjects are:

  • Introduction to QFT
  • Canonical quantization of scalar, fermion and vector fields 
  • Perturbative methods in QFT and Feynman diagrams
  • Elementary processes in QED
  • QFT beyond the tree-level (elements)
  • Non-Abelian theories and QCD
  • Weak interactions and the Standard Model
