Abstract

I will discuss the presence of logarithms that arise in electroweak corrections for any cross section of interest. These logarithms become large at high enough center of mass energies, and need to be resummed to obtain a well behaved perturbative expansion. I will discuss logarithms arising from initial state radiation in detail, and show how they can be resummed into parton distribution functions. I will finish by discussing how one can use this information to improve the accuracy of fixed order EW calculations.
